How Can Healthcare Change?

Reducing the costs of medical services in the United States requires the collaboration of those in government, those in the medical industry, and the consumers themselves.

Government Can

  • Pass legislation to ensure more transparent and comprehensive pricing for medical services

  • Increase the market competitiveness of certain drugs and services (such as by expediting the approval of viable and competitive drugs)

  • Cut spending on the large volume of redundant/inefficient medical services and redistribute funding to more effective services

  • Provide financial incentives for the adoption of quality over quantity service systems
